\ud83c\udf0d The World of Values<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The World of Values” was a unique eTwinning project that gave students the opportunity to collaborate creatively and enthusiastically with children from different countries such as Romania, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, and of course, Greece. Through this intercultural exchange, the students became little citizens of the world, learning and teaching values that form the foundation of human coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activities involved the students of 5th and 6th grade, under the guidance of their teachers Anastasia Palasidou and Sotiris Stamos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through collaborative activities, role-playing, painting, theatrical games, digital posters, presentations, and storytelling, the students cultivated and highlighted key values such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Kindness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They learned that kindness is not just about good manners \u2013 it is a way to show others that they deserve respect and attention. A simple “thank you,” a “please,” a smile or a kind word can brighten someone’s day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Respect<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Respect is not only for elders, but also for classmates, for those who are different, for nature, and for oneself. The children learned to listen without interrupting, to accept without judging, and to respect the opinions and personalities of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Acceptance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They discovered that every person is unique. By embracing diversity \u2013 whether cultural, ethnic, physical, or emotional \u2013 the children learned that strength lies in variety and peaceful coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Beauty \u2013 in its true sense<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students realized that true beauty is not just seen with the eyes, but also with the heart. It is found in kind words, in helpful actions, in a gaze full of compassion, and in understanding others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf1f Empathy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They put themselves in someone else’s shoes, listened with their hearts, felt and understood their classmates’ emotions. Through experiential activities, they cultivated empathy \u2013 the ability to feel and understand the phrase “I’m here for you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this wonderful journey into the world of values, the children did not simply learn \u2013 they were inspired, they created, they were emotionally moved, and they became the best ambassadors of these values in their own small world and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They showed that values are not just taught through words, but most of all through actions and personal example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
